Case Study – Benefit Love to Party at the Dungeon

Event Brief
Benefit Cosmetics team of 100 were coming to London for a three day conference on the Good Ship Benefit – a beauty and entertainment destination in itself! However, as their time on board was to be more business than pleasure they came up with the great idea of trying to scare and amuse each other with a Party at the London Dungeon. “From the moment I contacted Merlin Events, I knew that we were in great hands! Professional, organized and more importantly a pleasure to deal with! Not only did they arrange our London Dungeons Experience but they also made it possible for us to organize for our group to go onto the London Eye!” – PA & Office Manager, Laura Smith.
The celebration took place on the second night of their conference and Benefit were looking to create a fun party atmosphere for their staff to have some laughs and let their hair down. The catering was an important part of the brief and Benefit wanted to ensure there was plenty of food available. To enhance the celebration we arranged Prosecco and Gin Fizz cocktails along with beer, wine and soft drinks.

Delivering the brief
An Event Manager from Merlin Events worked with Benefit from start to finish delivering the brief. The London Dungeon Party Package fit the brief perfectly but a few additional items were arranged to make the event extra special!
A fabulous experience from start to finish
The Event Manager arranged a team of actors, security, hostesses, porters and cleaners to deliver the event, and was there to oversee the whole operation. They also arranged a close up magician and tarot-card reader to interact with guests before and after the Dungeon tour. One of London’s top caterers – Food by Dish provided the immersive dining experience of tasty treats in Mrs Lovetts Pie shop, substantial and delicious Victorian-Pub-Inspired food and dessert canapes in the London Dungeon Tavern.

“On the evening everything went so smoothly! We were even met at our hotel by one of the actors from the Dungeons who lead our group round to the venue! Gin fizz, great entertainment, fab food, well organized groups and tours, a bar like you were stepping back in time with lots to keep us amused – with DJ, Tarot Reader, Magician and things that I won’t go into because it will spoil the surprise!”
Outcome
It was a fantastic experience for all involved, the Benefit guests were really enthusiastic and the actors and entertainers loved performing for them! After food service it wasn’t long before the guests took to the dancefloor and the group left with smiles from ear to ear.
After catching up with Laura and sending through a link to the photo’s from the night, she was very happy with the outcome of the party!
