Flipping heck, it’s only Pancake day tomorrow!
03 March 2014
As we like an event or two, here’s our round up of the best places to head for pancakes tomorrow:
Lunch time stroll via John Lewis on Oxford Street
Tefal pans probably don’t excite many of us, but when there is pancake’s involved it’s a different story. They are launching a new range of cookware and to make us buy it they are cooking some free pancakes too. Lunchtime scoff? I think so!
Yes there is a pancake festival!
As many free pancake’s as you like? Yes please. Lyle’s golden syrup are hosting a pancake festival in Shoreditch! http://lylesgoldensyrup.com/
Burn some calories before you eat them
Get the team out of the office and enter 4 of them in the pancake day race at Great Spitalfields, 12.30pm start and bring your own pan! You can even win some baking gear from Cath Kidston. Donations go to London Air Ambulance! Email info@alternativearts.co.uk to secure a place!
Complete the ultimate pancake day challenge
Quite the opposite of burning calories, this time you need to eat as many pancakes as you can in 15 minutes at the Breakfast club pancake challenged. The good news is you won’t pay a thing unless you fail miserably in which case you will simply give a donation to charity. Win win all round? http://www.thebreakfastclubcafes.com/locations/soho
